The Week in Links 8/2/19: Lupita Nyong’o, American Horror Story, Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Welcome to the Week in Links, a roundup of the latest articles for fantasy, sci-fi and horror readers and writers.

There was a lot of chatter about Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fortnite. I’ve been wanting to play Fire Emblem but right now, I’m saving up for Pokemon.

Netflix is releasing a documentary on the history of anime. I don’t know how I feel about anime becoming so mainstream. Hope people don’t start messing it up. We still can’t get a good live action movie.

Some big announcements in horror. Lupita Nyong’o will be in a horror comedy.  I Know What You Did Last Summer is getting a TV reboot. IT Chapter 2 will be whooping 2 hours and 45 minutes. We got a teaser for the next America Horror Story. I used to like that show but after Murder House, I haven’t finished a season. Hotel was weird even for American Horror Story. Heard good things about Apocalypse. Waiting for that to come on Netflix.
